If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Horrible customer service and awful pizza. Unless you’re in person grabbing a slice to go, do not order delivery or pick up, because they do not care about you. Ordered a pizza for delivery to our Airbnb after a concert. Email said it would be delivered between 30-40 minutes. After an hour I tried to call. They immediately hung up the phone. I tried calling back again, was told to hold, and 30 seconds later they just hung up. I looked at the newest review and it said they ordered pizza for delivery after their concert and it never arrived and no one would answer the phone. So I decided to head over to the pizza place. It had maybe 50 young kids outside in line for a slice of pizza. I go to the counter and ask if they have my pizza. The man was very rude and said it wasn’t there and that it was probably out for delivery. I let him know at this point it’s been an hour and an half since I ordered. He just gestured at the line and told me if I don’t get it to call on Monday. After almost 2 hours my sister let me know the pizza arrived. It was cold and gross. We ordered just a plain cheese pizza - it was $24. There was hardly any sauce or c

Great pizza. It is great they have so many pizzas ready and sell them by the slice. The white slice I had was delicious and huge and i am sure the peperoni slice will be the same. They were quick too. It is great they got a location in Ann Arbor. I know of this place from Spiderman 2.

I ordered a few different one slice pizzas online. I ordered the caprese, white pizza, and the supreme. I enjoyed the caprese the most. The pizza is already made and once you arrive they put the slices in the oven to reheat them. They do it the same way when I go to NY and order slices of pizza. I didn’t feel like this pizza had much flavor or cheese. It was just okay. It probably would take better as a fresh full pizza order. Maybe my expectations were too high since I have been to NY a few times.

Fantastic pizza place! It's so good and truly NY style. My friends say this is comparable to the Joe's inside NY city, and it's one of the best I ever had. The cheese pizza is amazing! The key is to eat it right away, but boy- I don't think I have pizza this good in a long while. It's a thin-crust style pizza, but the cheese they use is so good. A bit of the wait in line during lunch, but I'm glad we waited. Totally worth it, enjoy!!

Visiting from NYC, I was genuinely surprised to spot Joe’s Pizza right here in Ann Arbor. The location is perfect, nestled just steps away from the University of Michigan, making it super convenient for students, visitors, and anyone craving a classic NYC slice. I wasn’t even hungry, but I still ordered a Caprese slice—and it turned out to be the best slice of New York-style pizza I’ve had in a long time. The crust is thin and crispy, the sauce is slightly sweet and well-balanced, and the cheese and tomato are fresh and flavorful. Everything about it was just perfect. The shop keeps the classic Joe’s vibe alive: a wall of celebrity photos, a counter lined with giant pizza trays, and that familiar, fast-paced energy. It’s amazing to see an NYC institution brought to life so faithfully in the Midwest. Highly recommend ed!
